Who can visit?
Visitors of all skill levels are welcome – whether you’re brand new, getting back into magic, or already performing regularly.
If it’s your first visit
If you’ve never been to a magic club before, please email us (info.surreysociety@gmail.com) ahead of time to let us know you’re coming. That way we can keep an eye out for you and one of the council can make sure you’re properly looked after on your first night.
Age requirement
You need to be 18 or over to visit or join at the moment – sorry.
How much does it cost?
Lecture nights: £10 per visitor
At Home nights (member “teach-ins”): free to attend as a visitor
Not sure which night to pick?
Check the Club Calendar to see what’s coming up. Lecture nights are great if you want to see a professional performer and learn from a structured lecture. At Home nights are more informal – members share ideas, teach each other, and generally have a good nerdy time.
What to expect on the night
You don’t need to “perform” to visit. Most people watch, chat, and get a feel for the club. If you do want to bring something along, great – but there’s absolutely no pressure.
